Nico Dude

In August another cat came out of the marsh at the beach house and would not leave. He saw a good thing and knew we were suckers. Now we have three black cats. This is the first day he came up to me. His body is so skinny here, it's amazing to see him today, as he has gained a lot of weight. I never would have thought I would have so many cats and be taking them between LI, VT and NY. Travelin' cat guy.

UT Terry Richardson Adscapes

Details from a series of UT ads posted on a construction site shot by Terry Richardson. The line going down Missy Rayder's face is a shadow made from the crease in the billboard paper makes me laugh. and then the other one with the hole in her cheek. My mind sees a lot in those blemishes.

Color Adscapes - Cloverfield Billboard, Times Square

Cool details from a billboard in Times Square last week. They have a cartoon quality about them that I really like. It's always been a challenge for me to get good color adscapes, easier instead to blend the billboard with reality by making both black and white.

Snowy Northeast Kingdom Moonscape

Pulled over and shot the moon in a dusky sky over a frozen snowy lake in the Northeast Kingdon of Upper VT coming home from a shoot. Here are a couple variations. Sweet.

Andy Cohen, SVP Programming and Production, Bravo

I just found out that my friend Joe Delate is the wardrobe stylist on Make Me a Supermodel. What a gig. I have been hooked since it went on the air. Andy, above is one of the executive producers on the show and a major force over at Bravo. He's also hosting those best of network specials for the channel. Andy also has a great blog here. I photographed him for a Red Cross campaign that I did in 2006 along with Chris Botti, Elisabeth Rohm and Bruce Bozzi. Nice guy. Would LOVE to be a guest photographer on one of his shows.

Signe, Fashion Stylist

Here's an old shot of my friend Signe, a fashion stylist here in New York, that I just love and recently came across. We grew up in the same town, Huntington, Long Island, but did not know each other until meeting on a shoot. Stunning beauty. Could model herself. Check out her work at signe-yberg.com. Callie

Just found this overlooked shot from last march shot during Norman Jean Roy's workshop in Santa Fe and added it to my site. Love it. Awkward in a wonderful way and in your face. Makes me want to stare and look away at the same time. She also has a bit of a Bowie eye going on, not in color, but tone, her left iris has a very dark area that surrounds the pupil, which also adds to things. And that little gap in her upper lip. Beautiful. She works for Norman as his in-house retoucher in LA and is a very talented photographer herself. We'll definitely see more of her.
